Authors scheduled for poster presentations will be assigned a 100 cm by 150 cm bulletin board in the designated poster area. We recommend that presenters produce their poster to paper size A0 dimensions (84,1 × 118,9 cm). Poster board numbers must correspond to the poster number previously assigned to each presenter via e-mail.

Posters can be written in Italian or English. Do not fill poster with too much text. We would recommend using a minimum of 14 point Arial font or similar. Make all print dark in a very light, or white background. Charts drawings and illustrations have to be kept as simple as possible without unnecessary details. Posters should be self explanatory so that presenters are free to supplement and discuss exclusively particular points raised by inquiry during the poster session. Include in your poster your contact details in case someone needs additional information.

Posters should be attached to the boards using Velcro or sticky tape. Please ensure you bring your own Velcro or sticky tape fastenings; drawing pins must not be used.

Posters must be displayed in the morning of Friday (February 5^th). Poster presentation sessions are scheduled between 4.00 and 5.00 P.M. of the same day and between 10.30 and 11.30 A.M. of Saturday (February 6^th),  when you should stand by your poster. Poster should be taken down after the end of the Congress (05.30 P.M. of Saturday). Posters remaining on display after that will be dismantled and disposed of.

SIO 2010 POSTER AWARD

Best posters will be awarded with two special prizes of Euro 1,000.00, one for each poster category (Clinical Research, Basic Science Research). The judgment will be performed by members of the Scientific Committee during the poster presentation sessions. Winners will be proclaimed on Saturday (02.30 P.M.).
